Bentley Continental GT, GTC & Flying Spur Brake Rotors, Front Set 3W0615301K

These are genuine Bentley Continental GT brake rotors for the front axle, part number 3W0615301K, sold as a set of two, left and right. They are the 405mm internally vented iron brake rotors, also called brake discs, fitted to the Continental GT, Continental GTC and Flying Spur with standard iron brakes. 3W0615301K replaces the older part numbers 3W0615301R, 3W0615301J, 3W0615301H, 3W0615301G, 3W0615301F, 3W0615301E, 3W0615301D, 3W0615301C, 3W0615301B and 3W0615301A.

The rotors fit the Continental GT coupe from 2004 to 2017, the Continental GTC convertible from 2007 to 2017 and the Flying Spur sedan from 2005 to 2017, with both the W12 and V8 engines. They are made for cars with the standard iron brakes and do not fit cars with the carbon ceramic brake option, which use their own carbon ceramic rotors.

The front brakes do most of the work of stopping these heavy, fast cars, so the front rotors have to absorb and shed a great deal of heat. The internal vanes between the two braking faces draw air through the rotor to cool it, which keeps the pedal feel consistent and resists brake fade on long downhill roads and at highway speed.

The usual signs that the front brake rotors need replacing are a vibration through the steering wheel or brake pedal under braking, a raised lip on the outer edge of the rotor, deep scoring or cracks on the braking surface, blue heat marks, and rotors worn below the minimum thickness stamped on the rotor. Always fit new front brake pads with new rotors, and replace both front rotors together as a set so the car brakes evenly.

Before fitting, clean all rust and brake dust from the wheel hub face, because even a small amount of debris between the hub and the rotor causes runout and a pulsing brake pedal soon after the job. Tighten the wheel bolts to the correct torque in a cross pattern, and bed in the new rotors and pads with several moderate stops, avoiding hard braking for the first 100 miles.
