Description

Genuine OEM Upper Wishbone Control Arm Bushing (3W0407515) for Bentley Continental GT/GTC and Flying Spur (2003–2017). This high-density rubber-to-metal bonded bush is the primary wear component in the front upper suspension links. There are 4 of these bushings fitted per car (2 per side). Engineered to restore factory-spec steering precision and eliminate "clunking" noises over bumps.

Eliminate front-end suspension play and restore "Crewe-standard" ride quality with the Genuine 3W0407515 Upper Arm Bushing.

The upper control arm system on the Bentley Continental platform is a multi-link design utilizing four individual bushings in total (a forward and rearward bushing for both the left and right sides). Due to the high torque and heavy braking loads of the W12 engine, these factory rubber joints eventually shear, leading to inner tire wear and steering instability.

Topical Authority Specs:

  • OEM Part Number: 3W0407515.
  • Quantity Required: 4 per vehicle (Fits all 4 upper control arm positions).
  • Placement: Front Upper Control Arms (Left & Right / Forward & Rearward).
  • Compatibility: Bentley Continental GT/GTC (2003–2018), Flying Spur (2005–2013).

Why Replace All 4? If one bushing has failed, the others are likely at the end of their service life. Replacing all four 3W0407515 bushings simultaneously ensures a symmetrical suspension response and prevents the "cascading failure" effect where new bushings are prematurely stressed by the play in remaining old ones.

Tech Tip:

When installing the 3W0407515 bushing, it is critical to torque the control arm bolts only when the vehicle is at its "Normal Ride Height". Tightening these bolts while the suspension is hanging on a lift will cause the rubber to "pre-load" and tear almost immediately once the car is lowered
