Product Details & Fitment

Genuine factory-original front lower forward control arm set (Left & Right) for 2003–2016 Rolls-Royce Phantom VII. Includes pre-pressed high-density bushings.

Precision Geometry for the "Wafeability" Ride The legendary ride quality of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VII depends entirely on the integrity of its front suspension geometry. This Genuine Front Lower Control Arm Set (Part # 0409267) provides the structural support and pivot points necessary for the vehicle’s sophisticated air-ride system to function correctly. Manufactured from high-tensile alloy, these "forward" lower arms (also known as tension struts) are engineered to absorb longitudinal road forces and braking torque. By replacing your worn units with these factory-original arms, you restore the precise steering response and silent cabin environment that defines the Rolls-Royce driving experience.

Model Fitment:

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom (RR1/RR1 Series II): 2003–2016

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé (RR2): 2007–2016

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé (RR3): 2008–2016

  • Note: Fits both Standard and Extended Wheelbase (EWB) models.

Symptoms of Failure:

  • Clunking Noises: A distinct "knock" or "clunk" from the front floorboard area when driving over speed bumps or small potholes.

  • Braking Instability: A slight "shudder" or movement in the steering wheel the moment you apply the brakes.

  • Unstable Steering: The car feels as though it is "wandering" or requires constant correction on the motorway.

  • Bushing Decay: Visible tearing or oil leakage from the hydraulic bushings at the rear of the arm.

Technical Details:

  • Quantity: 2 Arms (Left Front & Right Front).

  • Condition: Brand New Genuine Rolls-Royce.

  • Supersessions: 31120409267, 31120148324, 0148324.

Tech Install Tip: When installing these lower arms, do not perform the final tightening of the bushing bolts while the car is in the air. The suspension must be at "Normal Ride Height" (weighted on its wheels) before torquing the bolts. Tightening them while the suspension is hanging will "pre-load" the rubber, causing the new bushings to tear prematurely within months.
