The Mulsanne’s oil system holds a large volume of oil; always replace the Sump Plug Sealing Washer (XB1093RP) whenever you change the filter to prevent slow drips. Mandatory: Before installing the new 07V121717A, apply a light film of fresh engine oil to the rubber gasket. Hand-tighten only; over-tightening can damage the threads on the oil cooler housing. We recommend an oil change every 5,000 miles or annually, whichever comes first, to prevent sludge buildup in the turbocharger oil feed lines.
