Pro Tech Tip: V8 engines are sensitive to oil quality and airflow balance. Mandatory: When replacing the oil filter, always use the fresh gasket provided in the 079198405D kit and lubricate it slightly with clean oil before installation to prevent "pinching" or leaks. Caution: Accessing the V8 air filters involves removing the upper intake shrouds. Ensure all vacuum lines and clips are securely reattached; a loose intake connection can lead to "unmetered air" faults and rough idling. Always perform a final oil level check via the dashboard display after the engine has reached operating temperature.
