Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe — Upper Radiator Grille
We stock the genuine Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II upper radiator grille (51137227827) at $2,300. This is the upper section of the iconic Pantheon Grille — the hand-polished stainless steel grille assembly that is one of the most recognizable design elements on any Rolls-Royce. The Drophead Coupe uses the same Pantheon Grille design as the Saloon but with Drophead-specific fitment. Grille damage from collision, stone chips to the chrome vertical slats, or corrosion of the surround are the most common reasons for replacement. Always confirm your model year and VIN — early Phantom VII Drophead and Series II Drophead use different grille specifications.
About the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe was produced from 2007 to 2017 as the open-top two-door variant of the Phantom VII. Inspired by the golden age of yacht design, it features a stainless steel hood, a marine-grade teak wood deck on the rear cowl, and a five-layer soft-top convertible roof. Around 2,000 were produced across the full production run. The Drophead uses coach doors — rear-hinged like the Saloon — but with a unique two-door configuration. Body panels on the Drophead are entirely specific to this body style and are not shared with the Saloon or Coupe.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead vs Dawn — What's the Difference?
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe (2007–2017) is based on the larger Phantom VII platform — it is a longer, heavier, more formal convertible built on the aluminium spaceframe chassis. The Rolls-Royce Dawn (2015–present) is based on the smaller Ghost platform and is a more driver-focused, everyday convertible. The Drophead is significantly larger, rarer and more expensive than the Dawn. Parts are entirely different between the two — confirm your model before ordering any body, trim or mechanical component. We can source parts for both.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Price
New Phantom Drophead Coupes were priced from approximately $450,000 to $530,000 in the US market, with special editions and bespoke commissioned examples significantly higher. Used examples in good condition typically trade between $180,000 and $350,000 depending on year, mileage and specification. The Waterspeed Collection and other special editions command premiums.
