The exhaust manifold collects the exhaust gases from each cylinder and channels them into the exhaust system. On these classic straight-six engined cars, the manifold is subject to extreme heat cycling over decades of use, leading to warping, cracking and gasket failure. A cracked or warped manifold causes exhaust leaks — producing a characteristic ticking or hissing noise from the engine bay that is most pronounced when the engine is cold and diminishes as the engine reaches operating temperature.

Note on fitment — RHD only: EB3813 is the front manifold for right hand drive cars. If you are restoring or maintaining a left hand drive Silver Wraith or MkVI, please call us as the LHD manifold is a different part. Always confirm your chassis number and drive configuration before ordering.
