Bentley Mulsanne Hood Gas Strut

We stock the genuine Bentley Mulsanne front hood strut (3Y0823359A) at $175. The Mulsanne bonnet is a large, heavy aluminium panel and the gas strut is responsible for holding it open safely during engine bay access. A failing strut will cause the bonnet to drop slowly or require propping — this should be addressed promptly as a falling bonnet presents a safety risk. Two struts are fitted to the Mulsanne — one on each side. We recommend replacing both at the same time as they age at the same rate.
