Technical Integration Tip

When installing the 3W1941015T Headlight, it is essential to check the condition of the Headlight Mounting Carrier (Seal) and the Ballast/Control Unit. In many cases, headlight failure is caused by moisture ingress through a perished seal rather than a failed bulb. If your original headlight had condensation issues, we strongly recommend transferring your existing ballast to this new unit only after ensuring the ballast pins are free of corrosion. Furthermore, once the new unit is bolted in, the Continental series requires a Headlight Range Adjustment (LWR) calibration via a diagnostic tool (VCDS or VAS) to "home" the motors; failing to do this may leave the headlight pointing at the floor, even if the physical installation is perfect.
