Pro Tech Tip: Because these lamps are located in the lower splash zone of the rear bumper, they are highly susceptible to moisture. Mandatory: When installing the new lamp, inspect the rubber gasket and the bulb holder for any signs of green corrosion. If the seal is compromised, water can travel up the wiring loom. Caution: Do not over-tighten the mounting screws, as the plastic mounting tabs on the bumper can become brittle over time and may crack. Tip: While the lamp is out, it is the perfect time to upgrade to a high-output LED reverse bulb for significantly better visibility through the factory backup camera.
