About the First-Generation Flying Spur

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur was launched in 2005 as the four-door high-performance saloon variant of the Continental GT — sharing the same 6.0 litre twin-turbocharged W12 platform but stretched to accommodate a full four-door body. At its launch it was the fastest production four-door saloon in the world, capable of 200 mph. It remained in first-generation form through to 2013, when it was replaced by the second-generation car built on the new MSB platform shared with the Porsche Panamera.
